Mato Njavro and Kolinda Grabar Kitarović visit India and established cooperation with India’s most prestigious business school, Indian School of Business (March 2023)
The delegation of the ZSEM visited the Indian School of Business (ISB), the most prestigious business school in India. After a beautiful tree planting ceremony, Dean Mato Njavro and ISB Dean Madan Pillutla signed a formal partnership agreement that will allow the exchanges of graduates between the two institutions. The signature ceremony was attended by Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary General of the State of Telangana, prof. Ram Thirumalai, and H.E. Raj Srivastava, Indian Ambassador to Croatia.
Dean Njavro handed over Dean Pillutli a symbolic gift – the first Croatian translation of the book on Indian foreign policy “Modi’s doctrine” (translated and published by Mate Marketing Technology in 2021). During his visit, the former president of the Republic of Croatia and the Executive in Residence of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic gave a prominent speech at ISB, where she addressed the ISB students on the topic of “Digital Transformation and Green Transition – the basis for a strong India – relationship with Europe”. Mrs. Grabar Kitarovic invited the ISB students to use the partnership of ZSEM and ISB and visits Croatia, which not only is the door to Europe, but due to its lively technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem can create more possibilities to ISB students. With campuses in Hyderabad and Mohalija, ISB is the only Indian Business School among the top 50 on the FT Global MBA 2023 ranking list.
