16+1 ZSEM Youth conference (21 May 2019)

In May 2019, the New Europe Business Forum 2019: 16+1 Youth Forum was held at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management with the aim of involving young people and encouraging them to cooperate more with China. The keynote speaker of the Form was Erik X. Li, founder and CEO of Chengwei Capital, who stated that this forum is an important platform which aims to economically connect the youth of European countries of the 16+1 initiative with Chinese entrepreneurs and the Chinese economy. According to the organizers, the 16+1 Forum will promote Eurasian cooperation by building long-term partnerships between participants. Young leaders will be selected from a variety of fields, from academia, the corporate world, entrepreneurship, NGOs, politics, etc.
